We
are a family of three.
David is a seventeen year old boy-man who likes to play his guitar and play baseball.
 
Karin is a teacher at a secondary school.
Ron is a doctor  in occupational medicine.
 
the house
is a big old house built in 1892.
it has all conveniences you could want.
there are 5 bedrooms,.
there is a little gym in the attic and also a sauna.
if you like to watch dvd's be our guest, especially lots of music stuff, if you like van morrison you are in the right place. There is a beamer and a screen on which you can watch movies.

  
our neighbourhood
has shops for food and groceries  at walking distance.
the  shopping/centre of nijmegen is only 5 minutes away  by bycicle.
  
  
Nijmegen and surroundings
is a nice town with a lively centre and some old medieval parts and some nice parks and museums.
you can walk in the forest surrounding the city, you can swim in  the  crystal clear lake  of the Berendonck very nearby or you can bike along the riverside and enjoy the beautifull scenery.
  
trips and tips
we are near the railway station . trips to Amsterdam, Rotterdam , Utrecht are easily made by train or by car.
for kids  visiting   "de Efteling" is a must , a sort of fairy tale disneyland.
beautiful is the Kröller-Möller  foundation if you enjoy the combination of nature and seeing van Gogh's paintings.
we are near the German border ; Kleve  is very nearby. but also Koln/Cologne is  at  a good 2 hours drive. Antwerpen in Belgium  is less then a 2 hour drive.
