Modern flat in the center of the historical city of Granada, next to Sierra Nevada and close to Costa del Sol and Costa Tropical

Our home has been completely renovated and is located in a pretty quiet residential district, not far from the historical city centre.
We live in the sixth floor of a building with lift and a central system of heating and warm water. The flat has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen - dining room equiped with a washing machine, a dishwasher, a microwave and an oven, all of them in perfect conditions. All the rooms are very light and cosy. Besides we have air-conditioning and optic fibre internet.
Our residents' association has a porter/caretaker, a communal air-conditioned swimming pool with a small gym (closed August) and parking place. The neighborhood is lovely and there is a square with a small garden where the children can play. Moreover, it is possible to find a wide range of cafeterias, restaurants and supermarkets just around the corner. The public transport to move around the city is also pretty accessible.
From our home is easy to go to the city centre by walking in a short time. Is not far eather from the most famous and beautiful district of Granada, the Albaizín, and from the historical arabian palace of the Alhambra. It is also possible to have a nice walk following the Genil river, right next to our place.
In case you have a car, the highway is also really accessible. Close to the house there is a bus stop that takes you to the train station, bus station and airport.
P.S. From the terrace roof it is possible to enjoy a breath-taking view of the whole city, absolutely worthwhile!

Nuestro piso está totalmente reformado y se encuentra en una zona residencial. Es muy tranquilo y está muy cerca del centro histórico de la ciudad.
Vivimos en una sexta planta con ascensor. El piso tiene tres dormitorios, dos baños, un salón y la cocina comedor con lavavajillas, lavadora, horno y microondas. La casa tiene calefacción y agua caliente central, aire acondicionado e internet con fibra óptica. Todas las habitaciones son exteriores y soleadas. Hay portero en el edificio, piscina climatizada comunitaria para practicar natación (cerrada por vacaciones durante el mes de agosto), y plaza de garaje.
Buen vecindario, con zona peatonal y jardín para los niños pequeños. Hay cafeterias, restaurantes, supermercados y transporte público muy a mano.
Siguiendo la ribera del rio Genil, que está junto a la casa, se puede disfrutar de tranquilos paseos y de zonas polideportivas.
Al centro histórico de Granada se llega cómodamente a pie, incluso a la zona de la Alhambra y al famoso barrio del Albaizin
Los accesos a la autovía son muy cómodos. Junto a la casa hay parada de autobuses que te llevan a la estación de trenes, a la estación de autobuses y al aeropuerto.

Sierra Nevada, techo de la península ibérica con la estación de ski más meridional de Europa, abierta desde diciembre a abril y con más de 50 Km de pistas esquiables (a 40 Km). En verano, los amantes del senderismo cuentan con variedad de rutas de montaña para acceder de los picos más altos de la península, el Mulhacen y el Veleta, a 3000 m de altitud. Todo ello con una estupenda temperatura primaveral de 20ºC durante el mes de agosto.

La Alpujarra, es un valle de 70 km de longitud situado a los pies de Sierra Nevada, salpicado de pueblos blancos al estilo bereber que están conectados entre sí por rutas y senderos.

Without spending more than an hour travelling by car or bus it is possible to enjoy a considerable variety of landscapes nearby the city of Granada.
The tropical coast, with an annual average temperature of aproximately 20ºC and around 320 sunny days every year, is only 65 km far and it is full of towers and fortresses that witness its past; of orchards were many kinds of tropical fruits are grown - avocado, mango, banana, guava and custard apple- and of fully white towns and villages that rest right next to a quiet and wonderful blue sea. Here it is possible to find sharp cliffs and deep valleys as well as some of the best beaches in Andalucia (La Rijana, Calahonda, La Guardia, La Herradura, Acantilados de Maro... among others).

The highest spots in the peninsula are situated in Sierra Nevada (Mulhacén and Veleta, 3000 m high) which make possible the existance of the most meridional ski station in Europe. It is usually open from December to April and has more than 50 kms of ski slopes. In Summer it is an ideal area to go on a hike and enjoying its sheer view with a nice temperature of 20ºC in August. It is only 40 km away.

The Alpujarra, a 70km length valley right beneath Sierra Nevada is full of white berber villages connected between themselves by quiet paths. Also a lovely place for hiking and enjoying a traditional Spanish red wine with serrano ham.
