Nice house with lake view, near Bordeaux, in relax countryside
Our house is a renovated traditional farmhouse in the Southwest of France, nestled in the countryside 55 minutes from Bordeaux, 2 hours from Toulouse, and 1 hour from Agen. Several small towns are within easy reach:
- Bazas, La Réole: 15 km
- Langon: 25 km
Our village has a restaurant, grocery store, and doctor's office 1.5 km away.
Bordeaux: 55 minutes by car, but train access is also readily available (from La Réole station, the train journey to Bordeaux takes 40 minutes), and the Bordeaux-Toulouse motorway is just 5 km from the house.
The Atlantic Ocean is 1.5 hours away, and the Pyrenees Mountains are 3 hours away.
We have a large garden surrounded by fields and a lake right by the house. It's ideal for a peaceful life, away from the city, with opportunities for walking and cycling.
It comprises four bedrooms (two double beds and two single beds), a bathroom, and an open-plan living/dining/kitchen area with a wood-burning stove for cool evenings.
In summer, a terrace overlooking the forest will give you a feeling of time standing still.
Our renovated barn, next to the house, can also be used as a summer lounge.
We have a very affectionate, independent cat and chickens that will provide you with fresh eggs every day.

About the neighborhood
Nous habitons dans la région du Sud-gironde dans une grande ferme, avec vue sur un lac. Amoureux de la pêche, vous ne serez pas déçu car c'est un lieu connu pour sa pêche à la carpe.
Les amoureux de marche pourront aussi en profiter. Nous sommes entourés de champs aussi.
Nos premiers voisins sont à 100mètres car nous vivons en pleine campagne. Mais nous sommes solidaires entre nous. S'il y a le moindre problème, un de nos voisins viendra de suite vous aider.
Nous sommes à 1,5km du village d'Aillas qui comprend une épicerie, une poste, un bar-brasserie, un coiffeur et un cabinet de médecins.
La pharmacie est à 9km dans le village d'Auros.
