Peaceful vacation spot in a rural town in Eastern Finland. Right next to a lake with crystal clear water where you can dip in on a hot summer day. If you love the nature, forests and lakes, this is the place for you! Our favorite is to sit on the veranda and enjoy the beautiful scenery, maybe with a cup of coffee and a pie with blueberries picked from the forest nearby.

The house was built in 1947 to serve as a home for officials working at a nearby saw mill. Now it serves us as a peaceful second home. It has a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed at the top floor. The kitchen has been brought up to date, but you can still heat the original wood stove and cook on it! The living room has also a fire place and a beautiful view over the lake. In the basement there is a space that can be used as a second bedroom. Please be aware that it is three flights of stairs down from the main bedroom, so the house may not be suitable if you have smaller children. The house has two separate toilets, a shower room and a sauna room with an electric stove.
