About the neighborhood
We live just outside Stockholm, in Stuvsta, Huddinge. Our home is in a quiet residential area with good public transport and a 8-minute walk to a grocery store. It’s an 8-minute walk to Stuvsta commuter train station (13 minutes to Stockholm Central) or Hagsätra metro station (Green line, 17 minutes to Södermalm, Gamla Stan, or Stockholm Central).
In the area, there is a large football field (5 minutes away), a big playground with activities for both older and younger children (5 minutes), and several nearby lakes. The closest is Långsjön.

Family of two adults and two children living just outside Stockholm
Hi! We are a family of two adults and two children living just outside Stockholm. We are a creative and active family. We enjoy cycling, hiking, and spending time in the forest, as well as being at our countryside house in southern Sweden where we build, paint, and renovate.
We have lived in our house for 10 years. What we like most is the split-level floor plan. It’s a social home with an open connection between the kitchen and the living room. We have a large terrace with direct access from the dining area, where you can enjoy the evening sun during the summer months.
